Sensing the City – Open Call

PLACCC

urban life, more-than-human and ecological challenges

820

PLACCC Festival is launching an open call for public and/or site-specific artworks with an ecological focus, open to collaboration with other disciplines. They are looking for small-scale public art projects that engage human and more-than-human participants of urban life while creating multisensory experiences to embody ecological challenges and ecopolitical issues, attempting to imagine alternative practices and visions for the future. As such, in the projects of SENSING THE CITY, the term “sensing” has a double meaning, as it refers to both the physical perception of the city (the reaction of the body) and the active sensitization of urban locations with the presence of the body.
